When someone purchases a sponsorship, a transaction is created, but nothing else.
This is because every event handles sponsorships differently. Some include tables or teams, some include t-shirts or other physical products, some include representation in published materials or on signs, etc.
We commonly see logos displayed on the event site, tables/teams, and tickets as part of sponsorship packages. If your sponsorship package includes any of these things, here's how to set them up:
- If you want your sponsors' logos to scroll through in the right sidebar of your site, enter them in Setup-->sponsors.
- If you want sponsors to receive tables/teams, click on tables in the left-hand menu and use the green plus sign to create a new table. This article will help if you need detailed instructions for this process.
- If sponsors receive a certain number of tickets, but not a table/team, use the comp code process. Remember to use a unique code for each batch of comp tickets. Additionally, your sponsor will be able to see the comp code you use for them, so it's a good idea to use something specific to them like BlueCross instead of 12345.
If your sponsorships include something else and you need help figuring out how to deliver it, send us a message and tell us about it so we can help.
