What's the difference between an inactive and an active ticket?

The active/hidden checkboxes in the products tab are similar to those settings in the content tab. 

Checking the active box for a ticket product allows it to be used for your event. If this box is unchecked, you're still deciding on/working on the product.

If you use an inactive ticket to create your tables, your hosts won't be able to invite their guests. Similarly, if you use an inactive ticket for comps, your guests won't be able to claim their tickets.

Tip: If you want to be able to use a ticket for tables/teams or comps, but you don't want it to be visible to purchase on the front side of the site, mark it as active, but hide it by checking this box: .
