You have the option to remove the total when you create a new event.
From your event list, click the green plus sign to create a new event.
Check the box asking if you'd like to hide leaderboards and the total amount before you click the blue Add button.
If you're trying to return the "amount raised" amount on your site to $0 before you're event, you can manually enter a negative transaction for the amount you've raised so far. (This is one of the things we talked about in a recent Just 1 Thing from Swell. Here's a link to that: April 10, 2024: Adding Checks and Other Offline Transactions).
Tip: Make sure to leave yourself a note in the transactions field so you remember to delete the negative transaction after your event is over.
If you've already created an event and truly want to remove the total, meaning you don't want it to be displayed on your site at all, email support for help.
