You can send reminders to your in-person or virtual guests.
Sending a reminder to your in-person guests starts in the Email Editor.
Click Email Editor from the left-hand menu, scroll down to the Ticket Emails section, and click the Start Editing button under "In-Person Event Reminder Email".
The next screen works like the other emails in the email editor, with one notable exception, the Send button.
Press the button once you've made your changes and saved them using the button to send your email to your in-person ticketed guests.
Note: This email only sends a reminder email to your in-person guests. If your event is a hybrid event, make sure to edit and send your livestream reminder email as well.
Sending the Livestream Reminder Email
If you're using the virtual module for your events, you can send a reminder email to your guests right from your Swell dashboard. This email only goes out to virtual ticket holders.
Click on the Email Editor from the left-hand menu in your Swell dashboard.
Scroll down to the Ticket Emails section and select the blue Start Editing button beneath the Livestream Reminder Email.
Make your changes to your email in right-hand editing panel in the Email Editor and click Save to preserve your changes.
The default email is designed to be sent one hour before start time, but you can edit that language anyway you'd like and send the email whenever you want. You can also edit it multiple times to send additional reminders.
For more information about editing in the Email Editor, see this article.
When you've got the email exactly like you want it, go to your Virtual Module settings (setup-->settings-->virtual module) and click the send button to send it to all of your virtual guests.
You'll find the Virtual Module settings in the Setup menu. This article will help you get everything set up.
Caution: DO NOT use this the livestream login link tag unless everything is configured in your Virtual Module settings panel and you're ready for your guests to see your livestream. If you're not sure, use the preview livestream button to see what your guests will see.
If it looks good to you, you're ready.
Like all emails in the Email Editor, the Livestream Reminder Email provides you with several tags to make personalization easier.
The Livestream Login Link tag allows your guests to go straight into your broadcast without entering a ticket code or other information.
It looks like this in the email preview: *|livestreamlink|* and this in the tags list: .
