During Your Initial Setup:
-
Click on the Settings Tab from the Setup Menu and select Virtual Module to get started.

Click Enable Virtual Module and Save Changes.
-
Select the livestream source type. This is where you will be hosting your livestream broadcast.
Make sure to scroll down and click “Save Changes” for everything you edit, change, or add.
-
Add your livestream source key. The source is YouTube live (embed), Facebook Live (embed), Twitch (channel), Livestream.com (link). Tip: If you're using Zoom to stream to YouTube Live, you might find this article from Zoom helpful.
-
Click on Preview Livestream in the upper right-hand corner to run through or check your livestream before your event is live.
You'll find this in the section of the virtual module settings panel.
A Few Days Before Your Event:
-
Select someone as the chat admin by using the chat admin drop-down. This person will be able to eliminate chat posts and/or block commenters if necessary during your event.
-
Change the thank you message that posts in the chat when someone donates if you wish.
-
Choose whether you would like donation amounts to show in the chat and whether you'll highlight a leaderboard or social posts (Note: You can only display 1 leaderboard OR Social Posts in Virtual Mode).
-
If only ticketed guests can attend the event, go back to the settings at the top of the panel and check the boxes to activate ticket gating and make login required.
Remember to save your changes to preserve your edits by clicking the blue Save Changes button at the bottom.
The Day of Your Event:
It's a good idea to change your site into Virtual Mode 15 minutes prior to your event start time. To do that, check the box next to "Make Livestream Live" and save your changes.
