You can't insert documents into your content pages, but you can link to them.
While you can technically upload a PDF by inserting it as an image in the content editor, the PDF will not display on your site because it is a document file, not an image file.
To link to a PDF or other document file (such as Word or Google Doc), host the document in Google Docs, Dropbox, or another online file repository. Tip: Make sure you set the sharing permissions for your file in your chosen repository site so that anyone with the link to the file will be able to see it.
Copy the link to your file and go back to editing the content page where you'll want to link the document in your Swell dashboard.
Highlight the text or image you'd like to link the file to and right click.
You'll see an option to link pop up. Click on that to open the link wizard. Paste in your link, choose whether you want the link to open in the current tab or open a new tab, and click save.
Tip: Remember to save the changes you've made to your content page before you leave!
