You can turn any text or image on your content page into a link. Here's how to do it:
To hyperlink text:
- Copy the link you want to link to.
- Then, on any content page, select the text you want linked.
- Click the link button. It looks like two pieces of chain linking together.
- When you don that, you'll see a pop-up that looks like this:
- Paste the link you copied in the URL space.
- Text to display will be populated with the text you selected.
- Select the down arrow under "Open link in" to have the link open in another page.
- Click Save.
Remember to scroll down and click save on your content page to preserve your work!
To hyperlink an image:
- Create the image in your favorite image software.
- Insert the image in the space you want it to show on your content page by clicking on the insert menu and then image or the image icon in the editing toolbar.
- Click the source icon
in the pop-up and then upload
to browse your computer for the file you want to use.
- Select the image you want to use from your computer.
- Click the blue insert button
.
- That will return you back to the original Insert/Edit image pop-up. Click the Save button.
- You’ll see your image on your content page. Right click on it and select link.
- Complete the insert link pop-up just like you would for a text link.
- Paste the link you copied in the URL space.
- Text to display will be populated with the text you selected.
- Select the down arrow under "Open link in" to have the link open in another page.
- Click Save.
Don’t forget to save your content page!
