You can turn any text or image on your content page into a link.
Click "Next" to in the Scribe below to see the steps one at a time. If you don't see it, this page is still loading.
To hyperlink text:
- Copy the link you want to link to.
- Then, on any content page, select the text you want linked.
- Click the link button ().
- When you do that, you'll see a pop-up that looks like this:
- Paste the link you copied in the URL space.
- Text to display will be populated with the text you selected.
- Select the down arrow under "Open link in" to have the link open in another page.
- Click Save.
Remember to scroll down and click save on your content page to preserve your work!
To hyperlink an image:
- Create the image in your favorite image software.
- Insert the image in the space you want it to show on your content page by clicking on the insert menu and then image or the image iconc( ) in the editing toolbar.
- Click the source icon in the pop-up and then upload to browse your computer for the file you want to use.
- Select the image you want to use from your computer.
- Click the blue insert button
- That will return you back to the original Insert/Edit image pop-up. Click the Save button.
- You’ll see your image on your content page. Right click on it and select link.
- Complete the insert link pop-up just like you would for a text link.
- Paste the link you copied in the URL space.
- Text to display will be populated with the text you selected.
- Select the down arrow under "Open link in" to have the link open in another page.
- Click Save.
Don’t forget to save your content page!
