Is there any reason to use a QR code for a virtual event?

QR codes are most useful for in-person events. However, there are a couple of cases where you might find it useful to use a QR code during your virtual event.

• For watch parties where lots of guests might be watching from one location, guests would be unable to click the donate button in this case. Including a slide with your QR code during the presentation or placing it in the background behind your hosts would enable these guests do donate during the broadcast.
• If you would have used text-to-donate to encourage donations during the livestream, use your QR code instead.
