What can be changed on a Swell site?

Swell websites follow a template design with limited customization options.  While, the Content sections can be edited to support your events the transactional pages are limited.   However, there are a few changes a client can implement to ensure the campaign site supports your organization.   

Can I change the website buttons?   

The Give Now, Purchase Tickets, Become a Host, and Become a Fundraiser buttons can be edited to say something different.  For example, it is common for Purchase Ticket to become Register Here. 

   

Note: The color, location and shape of the buttons cannot be adjusted. 

Can the emails from the system be customized? 

Yes, there are 17 different email templates  utilized by the Swell system supporting a variety of actions.  Today, emails a customized by Swell team members.  To change an email, please send the text to be included to [e-mail].

Can we change the social media integration? 

No, the social media buttons and social feed cannot be changed.  The only changes available to clients are located on the Social Settings tab of the Setup screen. 

What changes can be made to the following secure transaction pages: 

Ticket Checkout Page? 

The only change possible on the ticketing page (other than what is adjusted in the Products tab) is that an additional field can be added to tickets(examples include t-shirt sizes and meal choices). 

Donation Page? 

The Donation Page offers several options for editing amounts and language.  All changes are available  to clients in the Donation Page Settings tab of the Setup menu. 

Table Host Sign Up and Invitation Pages? 

These pages provide for very few adjustments.  At this time, the only customization provided is the ability to change the word 'table' to something else such as 'team', 'row', 'golf team' etc.   In keeping with that adjustment, the word 'guest' can be changed to 'member' throughout that invitation process.  The adjustments allow for the process to be used for golf team, clay shoot teams, walk teams, bowling teams and more. 

Become a Fundraiser Page? 

No custom changes can be implemented on this page. 

Become a Sponsor Page? 

No custom changes can be implemented on this page other than what is generated by the Product section.
