How Do I Set Up a Stripe Account?

To set up or connect your existing Stripe account to Swell, begin by clicking "Setup Stripe Account."

Important Note: Only owner-level users will be able to see this option.

If you've already moved past this screen into your event or users lists, you can get back to this screen by clicking the blue "My organization" button in the left-hand menu.

Warning: Connecting a Stripe account or changing the Stripe account associated with your Swell account will change the payment gateway for ALL events.

If this is the first time you'll be connecting a Stripe account to Swell, click the button. You'll taken to Stripe and given the option to connect an existing account or create a new one.

If you want to change the Stripe account associated with your Swell account instead, click the button.
