Elevating pre-event giving involves a mental shift to think about events as campaigns.
You can accomplish this with a few shifts to your messaging on your site and in your emails and social posts.
We used two examples to show how this might work on your Swell event sites. The first version is event-centric and the second turns the event into a campaign.

Use these same principles in your emails and social posts.
- Ticket Email: Edit the email to explain how guests are helping to support your programs and how sharing their links with their networks helps support your mission.
- Receipt Email: Add in language that describes what certain amounts can do for your mission (Example: $50 provides 2 hours of instruction in our outdoor classroom).
- Fundraiser Success: Thank your supporter and add in concrete examples like you did in your receipt email and ticket emails.
- Reminder Email: Use it to update your ticket holders about your success and progress toward your event's goals.
