What data does Swell sync with Bloomerang? Where will it be stored?

The following outlines what Bloomerang customers will see in their donor system after a data sync with their Swell events or campaigns.  

De-Duping effort:  Prior to matching records with Bloomerang constituents, Swell will run a process that consolidates transactions and tickets by contact within Swell. It will also look for similar (although not exact) contact information details in order to reduce duplicate entries and map those to the appropriate record in Bloomerang.  

Constituent Records: 

If a Swell contact (first, last, or email address) does not exist in the Bloomerang account a new constituent record will be created.  

If a Swell contact is similar to a Bloomerang contact (example: first, last are the same but the email address is different), Swell will show this constituent record as a possible match (with an alert) so the contact can be adjusted during the match-sync process (prior to the full sync).  

Constituent record data fields include the following:  First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Address 1, Address 2, City, State and Zip (when available). 

Transactions and Tickets are mapped to the constituent timeline based on the date in Swell. 

Tickets acquired in a constituent's name are mapped to the Bloomerang constituent record as an interaction.  This includes a ticket issued via a transaction, a table invitation or a complimentary link.  This is an incredible way to track and engage with attendees who may not give during the event. 

Transactions: 

Swell will record the following transaction information: 

Date, Amount, Fund, Campaign, and Appeal

Additional information will be stored in the notes field if the transaction is a product (ticket, table or sponsorship).

Tickets: 

Ticket information flows into the Bloomerang constituent record as an interaction. For example, if a guest attends your event with a complimentary ticket or as a table guest, this will show on that constituent record as an interaction with the event listed in the notes field.
