How to Connect Your Bloomerang Account to Swell

Software systems like Swell and Bloomerang use an application programming interface (API) to communicate. As a Bloomerang client, you have a unique API Key that essentially gives Swell permission to communicate with your Bloomerang account.  

Here are the steps to connect your Bloomerang account with Swell. 

(1) In the Swell dashboard, go to any event or campaign. (Note: Once this is setup, it will apply to all events and any future events created in the Swell dashboard). 

(2) Click Integrations to see the possible integrations with your Swell system.

(3) Open up the Bloomerang integration

(4) Find your Bloomerang API key in your Bloomerang account

• Got to you Bloomerang dashboard
• Click Settings
• Go To Users and Select Your User
• Look for API Keys v2.0 and click Generate to create a new key
• Copy that string of characters after the key is created and paste it into the Swell dashboard

(5) Click Submit in the Swell dashboard to complete the connection
