There aren't as many customizations for this page as there are for Swell Slides, but there are still quite a few!
If you would like to change the background image, you can do that in your Swell dashboard in the branding section (setup-->branding). Look for the box labeled "Leaderboards Page Background" just above the save button.
Just like with the other images in this section, the image you upload here must be a jpg file.
Unlike the other images in this section, your image doesn't need to be a specific image size, but does have a specific aspect ratio (16:9). Here are some common image sizes (in pixels) using that ratio: 1920×1080, 1024×576, 1280×720, and 1600×900.
When choosing your image, you'll also want to choose something fairly simple so that your leaderboards and total aren't competing with your background image.
Here's what that space looks like once there's an image uploaded:
And here's what the simple display looks like with that image:
Want to download the background we uploaded to use in your event? You can find it here.
Leaderboard Settings
You can also change the leaderboards that appear on this page and the font size for your amount raised.
Important Note: These settings must be done on the computer you will be using to project the page at your event venue. It's best to configure them once you're on site, right before your event.
Click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the page () webpage showing your simple display tool. (For this example: https://leaderboards.swell.gives/dancingwiththestars#!/)
The default font can't be changed (to Arial, Georgia, or Times New Roman for example), but you can customize almost everything else.
- Tick the boxes next to each leaderboard you'd like to turn on.
- Change the way the display looks by ticking the box next to "3 boxes in a row", "Old Design", or "Stadium Width" (Note: Stadium Width flips the display vertically).
- Click in the font color box to customize the font color.
Keep scrolling down to customize even more.
This is where you can change the font size for your total, leaderboards, and the amounts on your leaderboards. You can also change the weight of the font for the names on your leaderboards to light, normal, or bold.
The last option in this menu is a tick box that allows you to show new donations as they come in . Ticking this box turns on an animation to pops in new donations as they come in. It also opens up more customization options:
