Become a Fundraiser

If you'd like to allow people to become fundraisers for your event without purchasing a ticket, you can enable the "Become a Fundraiser" button in your button settings. You can also manually add fundraisers in the dashboard.

1. Adding the "Become a Fundraiser" button to your Swell site enables individuals to sign up as fundraisers themselves.

Once individuals click on the button, they'll see this screen where they can register. 

If your campaign / event has teams (groups), individuals can also select the group they wish to join.

2. Fundraisers can be created manually by clicking on the Fundraisers tab in the dashboard. 

Click on the green plus sign to add the individual as a fundraiser. Once the fundraiser has been created, you can send them an email with their fundraising link by clicking on the envelope to the right of their name.
