Choosing a keyword for your text-to-give or text-to pledge campaign isn't as hard as it might seem. Think about how you normally type on your phone and keep these pointers in mind:
- Keywords should be fairly short and contain no spaces because people will be typing them on their phones.
- You can use numbers, but special characters are difficult for people to type on their phones so you want to stay away from them if you can.
- You also want to stay away from phrases if you can because people will type in the space between the words which will send them to the wrong place.
- For example, if your keyword were DREAMBIG, many people would type it as DREAM BIG. When they did, they would get the info for the keyword DREAM instead of DREAMBIG because spaces are not allowed as part of keywords.
