Should I choose Swell Slides or the Simple Fundraising Display?

There are two options for displays at in-person events, the simple leaderboard display and Swell Slides. If you're holding a virtual event or running an online campaign, you don't need either of these at the moment since they're only for in-person events.

Swell Slides Overview

Swell Slides is an add-on to the base subscription level and is included with the Swell Next and Swell Enterprise licenses. To use it, you upload your own presentation slides and backgrounds that you create in Google Slides, PowerPoint, Canva, etc. Your show is always changing because the app creates slides with your sponsor logos, tweets, total, and leaderboards with the background(s) you upload. Based on your configurations, it inserts those between the slides you create and upload into it. You need to download an app on to the computer you'll be using at the venue to display it. Simple Fundraising Display Overview

The simple leaderboard tool is included with all license levels. You can upload 1 background image (in branding) but you can't upload your own slides or multiple backgrounds. Even though it's less robust, there are still lots of customizations you can do. It's a website, so there's nothing to download. You still need a computer to run it. 

Which Should You Choose?

The simple display is perfect if you want a quick way to display your leaderboards, your total raised, and thank your donors. If you want to upload a your own slides, you're using Twitter heavily, or you want customize the timing of your run of show, you need Slides.
